It has one of the most excellent transport networks in the world (the airport express is a must try - it was the fastest train ride I've been and very comfy ) and the shopping malls are top of the line no doubt. This dynamic city has a lot of things instore for the kids and adults alike, from trendy fashion, asian/international cuisine, spectacular attractions to street markets and alot more. This trip has been chaotic but fun. I thought I was more like a tour guide than being a tourist myself. Having to travel with 8 pairs of hands to grasp all the time - not really the best job I guess. But definitely worth every minute spent. Only I wished I could have stayed longer and spend one more day just for myself - and play more with my camera on the streets! I've read once that to get an idea of Melbourne just think of both the stone buildings and churches of Europe and the modern New York thrown together. I couldn't agree more and top it up with one of the most extensive tram networks in the world. And did I say that the city offers great coffee too? And this time it's for Joan and John who are getting married this coming end of October back in the Philippines. Locations: SPANISH POINT for our attempt of sunset scenes on a Tuesday afterwork. Unfortunately, it turned out really coudy that we didn't have a glimpse of the sun though the sky was still abit orangy so we still managed to get some sunset shots. Not too bad afterall. HORSESHOE BAY for sunrise on a Saturday! And this time I would say it was really an ambitious attempt since we have to wake up really early in the morning and given that Friday was a long day for everyone. It wasn't the perfect sunrise that one will see the sun slowly coming out of the horizon (again, it was somewhat cloudy) but when it came out it was gorgeous. It was one beautiful experience one will ever had - beach, early morning breeze, fine sand and a beautiful sunrise. And for the couple, indeed a beautiful beginning.
